Roboworm

Featured Replies

I recently bought a pack of Roboworms in ehrlers edge and Aaron's morning dawn. I was wondering how they would work on a shaky head in slightly stained water.

Simply amazing. Great color selection and performance for the price. I have used both in clear and stained water with good success. However, I prefer the Aaron's magic over both the colors you mentioned as a year round favorite.

You can fish them on a dropshot or shakey head with great results!

Roboworms really float well, so if you use one on a shakeyhead, the tail will float straight up. Most worms don't float as well.

I always liked Roboworms, I got away from using them for some reason the past few years, but went back to them late last year, and found a nice niche for them in my arsenal. I tend to use Zoom finesse/trick worms more around grass, heavier cover, stained and warmer water, but when the bite is tough the smaller, slender, Robo's just seem to work better.

They also work great on smallies in my clear river.

Roboworms makes a wide variety of worm styles in addition to colors. The colors you have work good in off color water. Roboworms are a soft worm and may tear when used on some shaky head jigs, depending on how the worm head is attached. You may have better performance using a drop shop rig or a 1/8 oz dart head jig.IF you have the 6" fat worm, it works better on shaky heads than the smaller diameter straight tails.

The Ehrlers Edge is a dark color, the Aaron's morning dawn is a litght bright color.

I use my 6" straight tail robos on a 1/8 gamy hook with no issues but yes I would agree get something with a narrow profile bait holder or a screw lock type hook that's weighted and or screw lock weight.

Roboworms are the best for shaky head and drop shot!!! They are all I use BEST COLORS! The bright colors are great for slightly stained water.
