Slowly and anytime you find water with bass in it.

Try one on the back of football jig as soon as the water gets ice free. Will do a number on smallies. ;)

Fish the little 2.8" size on a 1/4 oz jighead.

A-rig, jig head, swim jig trailer. Nice soft bait, make sure you have some soft bait glue or super glue!

This is a great way to rig them.  When the football head hits a rock, the tail kicks up.  Give it a pause, and a hop after.  You'll get bit.

I use them a lot for smallies.  Those and the regular swing impacts.  I put them on a 1/4 or 3/8oz darter head and swim them.  Deadly!

Try it on a Biffle type head and grind it like a crank.

The only two ways I've used them so far (because I just found out about them this past fall) are on an Owner Beast weighted swimbait hook and on the back of a 1/2oz Dirty Jigs swim jig. Both ways produced awesome action but I felt for more open water type fishing it looked best on the swimbait hook. I use a split ring in the eye of my swimbait hooks and I truely believe it lets the bait move a little better than if you tie directly to the hook.
