4 inch senko or a zoom finesse worm - june bug, watermelon, and/or black. Not necessarily in that order.

a trickworm or something similar to a trickworm, weightless, dropshotted, t-rigged, or shakeyheaded, so many options...plus it will catch a 6-12in bass when i cant get anything else  ;D

Zoom trick tail worm,watermelon/chart. Texas rigged with a 1/16 oz. worm weight.

A watermelon gold flake or smoke red flake finesse tube on a 1/16 oz tube jig, or a 1/16 oz. jigworm with black 4" curl tail worm.

When all else "fails" I get out my Coors Light- Blue Mnts (Ice cold) , all gets better after that :D

Rooster Tail. If I can't catch anything on another lure, then I will be satisfied no matter what I catch on a Rooster Tail.

Original Rapala. I have all the sizes I think, some times simple things get the job done.

A zoom 4" dead ringer.....Watermelonseed or pumpkin green.

watermelon senko wacky rigged. any time, all the time always works for me.

I would say that right now my go to baits are a Luck E Strike Hollow Belly Swim bait, the other is a Shakey Head jig and a 5 or six inch finesse worm or a craw fish.  My favorite worm is a Zoom finesse worm in watermelon red, as for the craw fish, I like a Zoom Speed Craw.

Although those are my favorites now, I plan on using more techniques this year and I hope that I find a new go to bait/presentaion!

Like others while I'm not sure I have one go-to bait, I always have a few things ready to go.

1. shakeyhead/Trickworm

2. 5 3/8" or 6" Stick-o wackyrigged from weightless up to a 1/8 oz jig

3. t-rigged plastic or a jig/spider grub combo

4. skirted jig/Paca chunk or craw

If nothing else is working, either 1 or 2 will get the most work. :D

Movarus said a fluke watermelon and he's right !!!!!

You can texas rig it... put it on weighted hook and let it go deep... work it close to the top.. anything you wanna do with it...  if they ain't biting that go home !!!

my #1 lure for small lakes.........

Gotta stick a senko in there as well.... it's as deadly as a fluke.......... I like most senkos but now I'm sold on the Shimmey stick only at wal mart $2.99 ... give them a try.......... :D

Weightless 5" Watermelon/Pearl Lamanite Dinger/Trick Stick. This thing has saved the day for me numerous times, and its especially adapt at pullin' in bigger bass.
