Havoc Bait

Can anyone tell me if the Berkley Havoc baits are molded in the Spirit Lake plant or the Orient.

The origin of manufacture should be on the package somewhere.  If someone has a bag, take a look closely, and post.

I just looked; it doesn't say "made in" anywhere. It does list the address of Pure Fishing in Spirit lake, IA on the back. However, it doesn't say where it's made.

There is a symbol above the address that is a fish, but the body of the fish, from the head to the tail, is made up of three letters: ECO. There is oriental writing around it, but looking closely, it looks Japanese, not Chinese. Fishing is big in Japan, I suppose it could be the overseas importer for Japan.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Good to know. I love the Havoc line up, makes it that much better that it's made in the US. Just got my first packs of the sick fish the other day and they are just nasty! Great action and so durable. I rigged one on a weighted screw lock swimbait hook the other day and added a belly treble and managed to boat 13 largemouth, 2 white bass, 2 crappie, and a channel cat, all on the same bait and minus a few scratches and a missing eye it's in amazingly good condition. The catfish was probably 3 pounds and had the bait right between it's tooth pads, would have been a death sentence for most swimbaits, didn't seem to bother the sick fish.

Post a picture of that, how is the belly treble secured?

Here is the exact bait I was using, still rigged on the same hook.

I like that rig the treble is a good stinger hook.

Can't wait to try those out, I know they won't have the same action as the original makers but they look so darn nice for a great price! I wasn't to jacked up about the Havoc line when they came, couldn't stand the vids they did and their marketing package, thought it was cheesy. But the baits have slowly won me over, the pit boss, grass pig, and hopefully this new one all have places in my tackle box now.
