How about a French fry? Anybody still fish with those? Rember fishing those a lot growing up.

 

I still fish them, great bait that can be rigged a large number of ways.

It's getting harder to find the Strike King Rage Tail Shad, topwater plastic. They are a deadly alternative to a buzzbait/frog and are impossible to hang up in the mats when rigged weedless.

Those came out what 4 years ago? Yeah those were the good ol glory days of bassin LOL. Seriously y'all made me remember I have some mudbugs and old balsa cranks that need dusted off and put back in play.

I haven't had a problem finding the Shads. Man, if I couldn't fish the Shad, I'd have a heart attack!

I'll go with the Lazy Ike, the Jelly worm and the Jitter bug. Another flat fish that was never very popular  [no longer made] has always been a killer for me:

the Flap Jack by Shakespear.
