Xcaliber Lipless 5/8 Oz Cranks

Featured Replies

Picked a couple of these up today to try. I usually am pitching the older Yozuri Rattlin Vibes. Anyone use these Xcalibers? Can you let me know what you think of them? (well made, cheaply made, do they work etc)

Thanks

Love them. I really like the Rayburn Red.

Hands down my favorite lipless bait. Rayburn Red and Ghost are my favorite colors. I really like the one knocker version of them also. I do change the hooks out with short shank #3's on the front and back, the stock hooks are sharp but kind of flimsy.

To me, they seem good at higher retrieve speeds. I have better luck with other rattling baits at slower speeds

I really like the xcalibur lipless crankbaits, especially the One knockers.  The chrome black and foxy momma colors are definite winners.

I like them as well. My favorite color is the citrus?? or citrus shad color. Did pretty well with this lure last year.

Also, I think they are very made and the finish is as durable as other lipless cranks

Same here.  The chrome and the crawdad colored are my favorites.   My only complaint is that the paint wears off em cause of so many fish tearing em up!

Thanks for the input guys, as soon as the ice melts I am going to give them a try.

Great lures, and I use them alot, but I've caught more fish and better quality fish on the SK Red Eye Shad.

I use the 1 oz. in talapia color in Mexico. I like them.

I've been impressed with all the Xcalibur lures I've used, they make good quality stuff.

I use the one knockers and they are better than red eye shad when slow rolling IMO.
