Signed Copy Of Big Bass Zone

Featured Replies

I'm pretty sure the guy I bought the book from on Amazon signed it, haha. He wrote on the receipt and it was the same pen color and hand writing. I don't mind, I didn't realize until after the fact that is was supposed to be a signed copy anyway. Just cracks me up he didn't even spell his name right when it was on the next page. People these days...

I couldn't tell you whether that's authentic or not, but what makes you so sure that it's not? Folks signatures aren't always intelligible.

LOL, Siemintel!

Unless he dots his a's, I'd say I'm pretty sure.

Maybe someone who knows what his signature looks like will chime in here. I don't have any idea whether it's real or not, but I wouldn't just assume it's fake without doing more research.

It's a good read regardless. Enjoy.

call him on it and see what he says, its worth a try.

I'm cracking up over here imagining him calling the seller, then Bill Siemantel answers the phone and says "Duuude! It's a real signature."

I imagine that B.S. knows how to spell his own name. I would call the seller on it and maybe contact B.S. he would probably sign it for you

He probably would sign it. Bill is a stand up guy.

Like I said, I didn't realize it was supposed to be a signed copy until after the fact. Either way I'm happy I purchased the book. Yall do have me thinking now and I might have to try and get ahold of Bill. Anyone have any leads on how to go about this?

I am more than willing to sign it with the correct spelling for a small fee.

I suggest you let Amazon know what happened.

It is fraud and unacceptable.

And remember, you can only catch those monster bass if they live in the waters you fish.

All you have to do is drive 500 miles from Midland to Zapata and take a shot!!!!

Post pics and let us know if the drug dealers give you any trouble!!!!

LOL, with regards to what?

I think you may find some differing opinions on that subject. I got two BIG names in my head that might disagree. You can probably figure out who. :punch-2:

All I can go by is what I have seen. I don't get into the bait making politics, the he said, she said crap. Who knows what is true? And why doesn't anyone who was supposedly damaged sue? When I first started throwing big baits Bill was just about the only one out there that was willing to share when everyone else was tight lipped. What I have seen of the attacks and accusations that are made, he politely and professionally addresses. He does not run and hide as far as I have seen. People have been taking pop shots at him for a long time. Mainly because he is so dominate on the tournament scene, he must be cheating. From where I am sitting I have seen him do way more things to help the community than harm it.

Fair enough, everyone entitled to their opinion. ;)

Makes me think of that episode of Seinfeld when George bought John Voigt's car, only to find out Jon Voight the actor spells his name J-O-N and George still clinging to hope that it might really be the actors car and suggests maybe he just spelled his name wrong. Jerry tells him ohhhh right i some times do that too, i'll spell Jerry with a G and and I.

I have two copies of the Big Bass Zone, both signed by Bill
Siemantel. Bill gave me these books in person. One in 2008 and one like BenB54's
book, signed in 2013. The signature has changed from the first signing, just
like my signature  has over a 5 year
period.

The book signed in 2013, this signature looks identical to BenB54's
book. He is not dotting his A, that is just where the dot lands. It doesn't
matter that an A may look like an E; it is very common for signatures to
deviate from proper cursive writing.

BenB54 based on my copies you definitely have an autographed
book from Bill Siemantel.

Snakehead Whisperer you are very perceptive. Many should take a
page from your book! Go Big is in the house!!!

Could have fooled me, I stand corrected. It's wild that my 2013 signature looks like your 2008 and not your 2013. I'm glad to find out that it's legit.
