I was thinking the same thing Quillback and was going to add: "And I thought he was from Camden, MO!"

Then I read the rest of the article:

"This was Brauer’s first victory in FLW competition but he is no stranger to fishing success. Brauer recently retired from an outstanding career with the Bassmaster Elite Series and moved south to his present home in Del Rio, Texas. This is his second season fishing the EverStart Series and he is currently sitting in fourth place in the Texas division Angler of the Year race."

Looks like he moved and is just affiliated with FLW?

He moved.  From what I've read he will still be fishing in tournaments and doing sponsor stuff. He's just doing opens instead of fishing the elites.

Maybe a Denny Brauer fishing show???

Congrats to Denny.  I was recently in Del Rio fishing Amistad.  I can tell you one thing, Denny puts in the work, his rig is at the ramp every morning, and he is on the lake as long as anyone.    Very happy for him.

Let's hope so...His Bass Class show was really good.

How about a third book?

Then again, I'm not really a fan... :eyebrows:

I know what you mean.  I seen him in 2004 at a Bassmaster University event in Tulsa.  A very cool funny guy.  I especially liked the story of him and Zell giving each other crud.  Zell would give him a hard time about how hard he sets the hook.  He was laughing at him and said what do you mean like this?  He said he ripped the lips completely off the bass!
