Need Some Info On A Couple Of St. Croix Rods

Question on the St. Croix Avid AVC70MHM is how well does it cast crankbaits in the 1/2 oz range, the rod is rated for lures between 3/8 to 1 oz. Second question is how well   

does the Avid AVC70MHXF cast lures in the 3/8 oz. range. I fish mostly from shore in strip pit ponds and casting distance is inportant to me. Any comments on these rods would be appreciated.                   Thanks, Steve

    Those are is the ideal rods to throw both baits you want.

    I agree.  I have the medium and medium heavy.  They're great. I don't think you'd go wrong.

    I have not used the MHXF, but that MHM is fantastic for what you want to do with it.
