Just saw the first post of this thread and that's a nice turnout.  This thing just keeps getting bigger and bigger.

 

I'm down for the truckstop if it's cold.  If anyone could smoke a pork shoulder ahead of time that would do the trick.  I'd offer to make a vat of chili for everyone but those fixins would run a $80-100 pretty easy.

I've got a buddy at work that smokes some great BBQ that I'm sure whould be willing to do it if that's the route we wanted to go? Then I could just get a pork shoulder or pork butt and just figure what it costs a person. 

 

I've been to DGCO twice this year, only 1 fish from both trips but the water was 40.6 degrees last time I went.

I have a suggestion for the eating afterwards. A good friend of mine owns the Heidi Inn restaurant about 10 mins from the lake near Lebo.Iif we don't want to mess with who brings this or that we could go there. I could have them put a huge table together, it would probably take up the whole place lol.

I could handle smoking the meat for this, I'd bet it would be cheaper for us to make it ourselves anyway. I love smoking as well so it would be fun for me. I could throw a brisket or a slab or two of ribs in as well if some people would want it.

I would rather keep it like it is eat picnic style and I am in on smoked bbq it might be an option to eat out if the weather turns nasty but I think a lot a guys might not stay if we eat at a restraunt.

That works for me.

Next time we should have a fish fry.

I have the teams/people who've said they are/might attend listed on the first post with the pairings I have so far and the food listings below the teams listed. Take a look and let me know if you are or aren't planning on attending so I can update the roster and we can get things set.

There is a grill by the shelters and I'll bring one just in case we can't get a shelter.

With the way work has been lately it doesn't look like I will be able to afford to make the trip guys. Really wish I could though, maybe if I can get this new job I'm trying for soon enough

If there's any lurking boaters out there we're still in need of at least 2 more boaters for the get together. It's been a really good time the other two times we've done it with good food afterwards and some pretty good fishing too. 

I will check with Phil he may want to come as a boater.

That would be great if anyone knows someone with a boat that would be interested in fishing it and wouldn't mind teaming up with someone for an afternoon. 

Come on people. There are 28 of us signed up to fish, but less than 10 bringing food. Could use another person bringing burgers or dogs, buns, chips, drinks, etc

Im bringing 10 burgers, big bag of chips, and cookies.

We've actually lost a couple of people due to unforeseen circumstances but still have 25 down right now. I've sent PM's to those that have said they're planning on attending and staying afterwards to eat that haven't told me what they are bringing to pick something to bring. Even a bag of chips or 12 pack of Coke is fine, just need a little something to chip in. There are a couple people that aren't planning on staying afterwards so they aren't bringing anything, which is fine.
