Hello From Va

Featured Replies

I stumbled upon this site, and honestly I don't know how this fantastic forum was hidden under my nose for so long!

Been fishing since I was knee high to my dad ... so about 35 years :)

I live in Northern VA, fish the local lakes and rivers - Shenandoah and Potomac. I'm either in my kayak (Jackson Coosa) or beating the bank doing some suburban fishing.

Looking forward to learning as much as I can to continue to improve. As of now, my goal in 2013 is to become a better jig fisherman!

Hey CP - I'm in the exact same area as you. Small world!

Probably fished many of the same local ponds and lakes, which has better fishing then most folks realize. When I take my kid fishing, I'm always surprised there aren't more folks out. Their loss, our gain!

Welcome to the site.

Check on the South East Bassin section, alot of guys from VA,MD, and me from NC are planning trip to the Potomac River in August. The Potomac is right there in your back yard and we'd love to have ya.

Welcome aboard! The jig is your friend.

Welcome from Fairfax! If you're ever looking for someone to hit the shoreline with let me know. Not too familiar with the area and always looking for a hole or two to pull fish out of!

Always great to see another VA person join up!  Welcome aboard!
