Help- Need Crank that can be worked slow @ 10 ft. range

Featured Replies

I am looking for a crank bait or jerkbait that keeps a decent roll or wobble when worked at just a slow crawl... I want a wobble to be on the tight/subtle side. I also want it to hang out in the 8-12 ft. range.

Any suggestions on a type of bait that would fit these requirements??

thanks

By the way Jacob Robinson, fish stalkers are pretty sweet.

Thanks all...just to make sure, these lures you suggest will wobble and flash at a slow roll????

Yes they will. And I'll recommend the DT series as well. Both the DT 10 and DT 14 have great action and will cover your range of depth. They tend to rise quickly, but stay down where they're supposed to be as long as there is tension, even a slow roll. Using a deeper model will actually allow you to work it in the depth you want for longer as it will get down to that 10ft mark sooner than a crank designed to run at 10ft max, so you can work it through your target zone longer.

I'll add that since you mention jerkbaits, the X-rap DD, and XD LC pointer will cover the depth you want and suspend there, allowing you to wiggle it (the lure guys) any way you want.

I love the Bomber Fat Free Fingerling: Dives 6-10ft. 2 3/8 in. 3/8 oz. #6 TX3 Xcalibur hooks. Slow roll and wobble.

Your better off with a DT flat the 9 ft deep lure. Super tight wiggle/flash.
