I fish most brands except original Rat-L-Traps.

Honestly, in terms of productivity, they all seem

about the same to me. When the liplesss crank

bite is on, it's on!

One notable exception: I'm not usually concerned

about lure colors, but have found that to be

especially important with these lures. I don't

know exactly why, but that's a consistent

observation. Most of the time I fish the XCalibur

Xr50, blue chrome/ orange, but sometimes other

colors are WAY more productive. This weekend

it was sexy shad.

Just curious but how come you don't like Rat-L-Traps?

After buying and fishing some of the high-end lipless cranks last season, I don't think the differences between them are very significant, not like they are with the high end jerkbaits. I've had some of my best crankbait fishing on cheaper cranks with upgraded hooks like the Super Spot($2), Rattlin' Rapala($3-4), Bill Lewis Rat-L-Trap($3-5), Red Eye Shad($2-5), and Xcaliber XR50($5 on sale).

Couple years ago 

Like Roadwarrior stated when the lip-less bite is on they all pretty much produce ..

I can catch them on every brand except the SK Red Eye shad for some reason..

I also like to glue the weights in a few differant brands also
