Not personally, no. The general feedback for the reel is less than positive. There are very few that like and/or recommend the reel.

For a low end reel there fine I use one on one of my A-rig rods it does fine my not be servicable as others but over all there fine

I must have got lucky with mine cause it's worked flawlessly for over a year and I've thrown everything from a rigs to weightless senkos with it. Mine is the 1st w&m one with the smaller knobs.

The first generation with the small knobs worked fine for me for 2 years. This was the version reviewed by tackel tour and was a good reel for the price. Then they dropped it to 79.99 and changed the knobs and got rid of the thumb bar grip. the newest iteration has a matte black finish and is a totally different design so idk.

wow...I always thought they pretty good reels. I offered my buddy $50 for his and he said..."it's yours". So I shouldnt buy it?

I've never heard of anyone having problems with them as far as performance. I have heard that they are not machined well though. From reel repair guys who service them, they have said the frames have burrs on them and are generally rough compared to other rands. This lack of attention to detail leads me to think their tolerance limits on internal parts alignment might not be so good either. Since you have an opportunity to try it out in hand, you can tell if it's worth buying or not. $50 will get you a new reel right now with so many spring sales going on though.

If you buy a SK rod at dicks right now theyll give you the reel for free.
