Landing Nets

Are you frickin kidding me! $80 for a net!

How is that different than a $400.00 rod?  If you pay $80.00 for a net you'll use that net on every fish you catch... if you buy a $400.00 rod you'll convince yourself you still need several more rods to catch a fish with!

That's what I paid for mine.

Me too. and I love that net! You are talking the Hiber net right?  When I take people out on guide trips I always use the net! When fishing with buddy's I lip them or swing them! But that net is cool and it stores nice!

I don't have the Hiber net, I have one of the Frabill conservation series nets. Like they say, you get what you pay for.

I found a good extendable frabill with the conservation rubber basket for $40 on craigslist, I refused to spend 80+

Mine cost around 80 for retail but I got it for 40 in the bargain cave at Cabela's. It's a folding Frabil and it helps save a little space in my little boat but folds and extends out to a net that is plenty big for most of the fish I catch.

I paid 130 for my musky net.. It's also ment to hold 50" fish in it though...

Promar LN 501B. ~$40 on TW. Works for Matt Peters, works for me.

Make sure the webbing itself is rubber. Trying to untangle the treble hooks from nylon is a pain in the ass.
