Are you thinking of Mark Menendez???  It was a couple years ago that he did that I think.

 

This was recent right?  The 2013 tournament.  I saw the footage but can't recall the name too.  I don't believe it was Menendez.

I knew about this vid but swore you were talking about something on the Elite Series in the last tournament and not FLW.

I fished with John Cox as my guide.  Great host and it was his trip which motivated me to get into fishing tournaments in the first place.

Brandon Card did go through a culvert pipe on the sabine river......

brandon card did the same thing as john cox .  card did it on the sabine river cox did it on the red river. both went through a pipe to get to a small backwater lake. card's was just a few weeks ago though
