I will be at Collierville Civic Center Sunday morning if you would like to meet. My vehicle is a black Sequoia Toyoto and I will be wearing a Rage Tail hat.   -Kent

That lake is definately not as good as it was about 7-10 years ago as far as bass go. We did head out there this past saturday however. I caught a 4lb bass and we caught a couple more little ones. Was windy as could be. And that lake stayed true to its addage; when it's windy, the fish don't bite.

Go north at the intersection of Poplar & Market Blvd to the first street beyond the Home Depot.

The street is "Civic Center", turn left (west). On your right (north) you will see an office complex

consisting of mostly free standing, single story offices. The Collierville Library is also in this development.

The pond is not easily seen from the road, but appears quickly as you drive into the parking areas.

On the far west side is an open space used for field sports.

First "Big Day" of the year at Grove yesterday. Five fish in two hours,

all caught on a Sworming Hornet/ LFT Live Magic Shad. We had a large

number of crappie fishermen doing very well, too!

Hit daycare the other day. Caught a couple dinks, a 1lb 1/4 and this beauty. Just shy of 3lb.

Also stopped by Halle Park. Caught one small one. Wind was too bad out there that day.

I hit Grove this morning - lots of guys fishing.  Only saw one bass landed and it looked to be a nice one.  The crappie guys were doing really well.  Man, that cold wind was relentless.  I had one good hit on a spinner, but otherwise got skunked.

I hit grove at noon a few days ago, the bluebird day when the wind was whipping and cold...anyway no luck there and didnt see the other fellas catching any either.

Went that same afternoon to the chick fila pond right after work and managed to catch a couple really small bass on a drop shot robo worm.

Been slow at the ponds lately for me. Excelent weather to wet a line though!!

Neshoba (Chick-fil-A) used to be my dream pond, but that was ten years ago.

About four years ago the city killed all the vegetation and the pond has never

recovered. I know guys catch a nice fish occasionally, but I used to have 10+

fish mornings and a MONSTER ever now and then. I once caught nine bass

on ten casts and eleven on fifteen. Every fish was caught on a white X-Rap.

yeah Neshoba is my go to since its on my way home from work and fairly easy to get in and out, but I cant say I expect alot. There are still occasional bigs caught there but they are really sporadic. You ever fished the runoff ponds off of wolf river pkwy, by the medical offices?  I call it snake pond for obvious reasons, not one single time I've been I havent stepped across a snake, BUT I also get some decent bass every once in a while out of them.

Only once and I slipped on the mud with a giant snake coming my way.

I recovered, but have never gone back.

Yep that place is a snake hole.. You guys ever fish the lake behind lowes.. My fish in my pic came from the neshoba snake hole, lol

Collierville Civic Center, Nashoba & Grove Park in Germantown

I'm kind of new around here.  I am looking for a few places to bank fish for largemouth.  Catch and release of course.  I live near yale road and elmore park.
