i just bought several of these baits. i'm very impressed with the quality vs. the price.

my question is - is the finish very durable or do i need to clearcoat the finish in order to make it last ? and do they usually run true out of the box or will i have to do some therapy on them ?

I am a huge fan of h2o hard baits.  I have been using the same charturese with black back shallow crankbait all year and it has caught at least 60+ fish and it still looks and runs brand new.  I have never had to tune one out of the box.  they have great hooks and the price is unbeatable.

H2o baits are awesome. Good VMC hooks, I have never had a problem with the finish on them. I own about 30 or so and I have 1 that has been flawed. It's a model d and when I stop the retrieve it floats up tail end first in a spiral motion. It"s weird. All others have been great.

All of mine have been fine.  Currently have around 25 of them.

Don't hesitate on buying their cranks. H2Os and LCs are the majority of the baits in my crankbait arsenal.

yes their swimbaits have good action.  My little brother caught a 4lber on one during the spawn.  H20 has some great lures.

dont but the spro frog knockoff they are horrible.  i bought two at the same time.  took the first out of the package and it sank.  checked it and couldnt find anything wrong.  tried again and it sinked.  well i took the other out of the package and brand new same thing.  idk what is causing it but i wont be buying anymore of them.

Wish they sold online, I like the price of 50 bucks for the 6 shad or sunfish.

Love the cranks, especially the shallow runner, and the colors are good too. The Sammy copy is good also and I will continue to buy them. The frog is junk; mine don't sink, but they sit really low in the water and most importantly, don't catch fish! I will stick to my Trophy Scum Frogs for now...I KNOW they work.

Had the front treble pull out on the first two I bought when they came out. Never could get the third to run straight. Ya'll can have them. Won't be buying any more.

Frogs suck to.

I love the cranks. Didn't even think the frog looked worth trying out.
