I have a handful of those same rods. personally I would go with an *** black over anything else in that price range.

Might take a look at the Falcon Lowrider XG or the Falcon Bucoo.    Great company to deal with.

Ditto to JigMe. I saved an extra few months and went with a G-Loomis stick and have not regretted it for a second. The sensitivity is just amazing. You can feel the slightest of taps. If you it helps at all, my personal best was taken on this rod - 11.7 in Lake Fork -- on a tiny finesse worm bait ... hardly felt the first tap, but I felt it and it was game on.

Just my two cents worth -- good luck.

Find a rod in your price range.  Give it a try.  If you like it, buy it.  Everyone has an opinion, but yours is the only one that counts.

The fish ranger has Powell Endurance rods, both spinning and casting on sale for 110. Thats 60 bucks off.

Its a no brainer.
