Pink Or Red trick Worms?

Are these two colors of worms only good during the spawn in shallow water? Or does anyone fish them all year? :-?

I would probably never use a color like that. I only use black Trickworms and I catch bass on them year-round under any conditions.

I've had good luck with Zoom's trick worms wacky rigged in Bubble Gum & Merthiolate during late winter & real early pre-spawn.

I've had good luck with Bubblegum Trick Worms all the way into late summer/early fall.

Pink.

I use pink and white but mostly pink.

I use other colors of trick worms for shaky head and wacky presentations.  ;)

Boy, there are other good trickworm colors:

Yellow

Sherbert

Bruised Banana

Black Yellow Swirl

Green Yellow Swirl

Funky !  ;)

Sounds like an ice cream store.

I have used both and caught fish on them, but my favorite is the bruised banana color.  But since you asked to choose between red or pink I am going to have to go with pink.

I like to use them Texas rigged weightless over top of the grass beds on early summer mornings.

Neither. Green pumpkin w/ green flake or motor oil.

I love Pink trick worms. Fish them T-rig weightless on the top of the water with a jerk-pause retrieve. I've caught some big ones doing that

Thanks guys, I was going to put these color worms away untill next spring! But I may have to retink this and keep them in my boat and give them a shot this summer! ;)

Normally I throw a very dark worm with a translucent tail,

but on many occasions I've had good results using bubblegum or merthiolate trick worms.

I mainly use these colors in shallow water, where I can sometimes watch the worm.

As for the color preference of bass, I think the color of my socks is more important ;D
