If they play 7 games like that, Jagr might have to retire before the series is over.

  • As a Long Time Bruins Fan, I am a happy man.   Following the team this brief by action pack season has been quite a ride.   The playoffs have been one heart attack after another.   This Original

Quenneville's stache in 6. Kane will help a little, as will Bickell, but ultimately Joel does it. Bahston doesn't stand a chance.

That sir, is a truth.

How do you think he is still able to get on the ice? His injuries heal themselves.

Just saw a post about Jagr's facial hair... That was an absurd beard he had going on there. I almost fainted when I saw it. He pulled it off well though. Anyway... I have a Jaromir Jagr wood stick from a long while back in his career. I can't believe that dude is still playing. Seeing that game go into triple OT was crazy as heck. Being a goalie myself, I cannot even imagine how exhausted  Crawford and Rask were. They basically played two games back to back.Goalie is the most exhausting position on the ice . (for me, asphalt. Roller hockey FTW!) No breaks...  up and down and sliding post to post is quite a workout. Also, wearing 50 pounds of gear isn't fun either. That blocker and trapper are like 6 pounds each. Imagine holding six pounds up in the same position for almost an hour. And then every so often you have to use your reflexes to get that six pounds well above your head in a split second to make a save. Maintaining that balance and reflex for almost 120 minutes is crazy.

Got that right, the trapper is no baseball glove!

Bruins are gonna kick @$$ tonight!

Victory!!!

2 games, 1game a piece, 6 regular periods and 4 OT periods. Going to be a great series.

Way to go Bruins....

Paille had a great game, the move that opened up the Kelley goal. And the game winning goal, he was most definitely the player of the game... Tuukka played exceptional as well...

Great series so far, I hope all the games are like this....especially Game 2 - with a Bruins win.

Game 2 was Wild ~

I hope the B's learned from that dismal first period and don't repeat that 20 minute performance again.

It was pure survival mode.

But it seemed like once the Bruins were able to get a bit of the physical game going, they were able to generate some positive energy.

Coach Julien's move to put Tyler Seguin on the third line with Chris Kelly and Daniel Paille was brilliant and the turning point in the game.

Can't wait for Monday night and game three - should be a good one.

Go Bruins ~

Intense series so far and certainly not a dominance by either side. Great to watch so far. Go Hawks!

Here's my prediction for tonight's game... 3-2 Bs in double OT

OK - I like your choice of winner but can we ease up on the OT's ? ! ? ! ? !

A-Jay

yes please ease up on the ot's. Waking up at 430 and then trying to stay up till past 12 is getting tough. I passed out during the 3rd intermission last game and woke up to find my hawks had lost  :cry4:

Glad it didn't go into OT, even happier we won!!! Paille with another score and great goaltending by rask!

Man....if we could ever capitalize on a Power Play, things would be different.  Last nights game, Bruins played flawless (and even missed some opportunities to score) and we played like crap. I'm hoping we step it up a notch tomorrow night. Missing Hossa didn't help as well but can't rely on 1 guy.  Go Hawks!

hawks played sooooooo slow during that overtime period.  bruins should've won that game, but I'm glad they didn't haha.

Emery needs to be in the net Saturday.
