Thoughts/use Bps Baits

Featured Replies

Back when i first started fishing I had gone to BPS during their spring classic. Figuring any soft plastic was the same, i went ahead and bought bags upon bags of all their house brand baits. Now personally i find myself never using them and have a stockpile of them. Trying to thin them out now that's all i've used and have had some luck, but wondering if its hurting my fishing all that much??

So what luck have you guys had fishing their baits? Have you done anything to help improve them? Should i just set them aside and fish my other baits?

I've caught bass using BPS brand stick-o, straight tail worms, trick worm imitations, soft plastic frogs, and jerk shads.  They work, just like any other bait.

I have caught bass on BPS brand plastics quit often. I actually really liked them. All of my BPS baits are gone and frankly its not worth it to order from BPS for me, the shipping makes them cost just as much if not more than what I can get locally. Sucks because I liked the BPS stuff. Wish we had a BPS closer than 2 hours away.

I've been a customer of Johnny Morris' for almost 40 years, so I've seen em come and I've seen em go.

The lures leave a lot to be desired. It's often cheap overseas stuff and I've stopped buying it.

On a positive note, I really like their rods, from the Extreme to the Elite series.

Give them away or throw them away. There are so many better alternatives.
