Who's Wants In?

Featured Replies

I have been following a thread in the southeast bass fishing section and really want to get one started for us up north. Its a friendly competition, the person with biggest 5 fish (by length) wins. The florida thread has been doing it by month which seems to working well, and because its pretty much august why not do it that way. So for your fish to count, a photo of the fish must be taken laying on the tape measure, yard stick, whatever you use to measure your fish. The area restraint will be New England (all fish must be caught in NE to count), so anyone who wants to participate just give a reply saying that you are going to do it. Just so I know I'm not posting fish and I'm the only who doing it, LOL. It will start today and go to the last day in august (only fish caught in this time frame will count for the competition, just be honest) so start catching and posting, lets have some fun!!!

Here's the southern thread if anyone wants to check it out http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/121112-florida-bragging-rights-take-3-july-1st-31st/page-1

-Make all your posts in this thread, questions, suggestions, and your fish

(Please try to post fish within a day or two of it being caught, thanks)

EDIT: If your state is listed under the northeast bass fishing forum then you may participate.

Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont

can you post as much as you want and just select the top 5 at the end of the month? If not, most people probably wont post until the last day.

Every few days I will do a tally to see who has how many inches and who has the lead, who is 2nd, 3rd, etc.

But you can post fish even if they don't cull...

I like how you have followed suit.

I've won the FL One the past two months and it makes fishing a lot more fun. A few of us have and plan on meeting up and fishing. Me and a local buddy are taking a trip to south FL to do some fishing with two members of the competition from Miami.

We share tip and techniques that we all use including how and what we caught the fish on.

Good luck to all of you NE anglers

Heck, should I make it for all northeast states listed on the site...

That would probably be better since FL fishing could be considered 6 states in one with the number of serious anglers whatever kind of fishing it may be

Just dont let in those florida guys... their average down there is 12 pounds.. haha

seeing the edit I would join in the party...

Somehow I am going to need to remember to take pictures of fish on the bump board now however which will be tricky.

Before today I had a 60" total of 4 fish, today I got my 5th. It was a healthy 3 pounder, the length was 17.5". (sorry I was in a river and couldn't lay it down)
