AK-NJ, Check with Obama , but i dont see any reason you cannot do both.

NEJitterbug Is the Obama of this thread, I'm sure he won't care unless I end up pulling in some FL BIGGENS lol.  But this is all fun I just like seeing people catching fish.  It makes it a little better when I am not catching any, I caught all my top 5 in the first 2 days or so and it seems like nothing big since then.

  • And so I will...   You can go ahead, and take out a 17.5, and replace with this 23"  beauty here, the hardest fighting under 8lb bass I have ever fought.        (I put her down for her photo

  • Here. I at least filled out that limit. I was all over fish today, but none out of that tough 16"-18" range. Got about 15 of those, though, all on a Tx rigged Craw. Falcon and Watermelon Red.   Fish

  • Well, even though it's embarrassing, I wanted to get on the board... lol.   I had about an hour this morning and decided to stop at a little pond that was stocked earlier this summer... and the resu

I would love to have AK join the thread, I don't care if I get crushed. Bass fishing to me (tournaments excluded) is about the thrill and having fun. As you can see I have like 78.5" haha, I want to cull 4 if not all 5 of my fish by the end of the month but I'm not going to beat myself up about it. I want to see everyone catch big fish...

it looks like atleast 100" is going to be the winner. That's how it was the past 3 months that we did it in FL, and it was only a few of us contributing now I think there are more but they are waiting to unleash their monster fish at the end of the month

The thing I don't like about that is it kills the thread. I'd rather have a steady income of decent fish with some real good ones thrown in, keeps us in the loop, we learn more, more discussion...

No doubt.

Caught a little one today off a black/blue chatterbait but it flopped back in the water before I could take a picture. Doesn't matter though, it was about the size of my shoe.

Went out to check on some conditions at a local spot. Got a few like this guy. At least I can take off the 16", and cull with this 17.5"

UPDATE

MARsSPEED: 98.5" (5 fish)

Shane 96.75 (5 fish )  CULL 16 ADD 17.5 = (98.25)

Nashua Nev: 97" (5 fish)

Me: 78.5" (5 fish)

Mike2841: 21" (1 fish)

We caught a bunch this morning in the Nashua river, but all smallmouth and nothing bigger than 17 inch.   oh yea  3 pickerel over 25 inch to go with the smallmouths.

My 2 twins on Milton 3 Ponds everyone keeps saying the big ones are gone and there's nothing but trout, but patience works for me finding them.

Hey, Bobh64, turn your fish around. The mouth (closed) goes against the "0" of the ruler.

Hey Jitterbug, could you post the pictures of my fish from your phone?

I know just hard when going solo and rushing to get the fish back into the water in 25 mph wind and a well used lake with boat renters running all over the place :)

Security towed my car at my lake today. I was parked in boat trailer parking only. Funny thing is there was no where else to park and no trucks with trailers parked where I parked. Guess the rent-a-cops had nothing better to do.....

No culling today! I will get some time to fish later this week but that is right after a cold front moves through. One-hundred inches is beginning to look harder and harder!

I'm glad you fellas enjoyed your weekend. I gotta somehow figure out how to get this $175 tow job past my wife, haha.

I might have to join the fun if I can find some time to get out on the water! Wish I had some pics of the little ones I got this past week, would at least get me on the board!
