Doubles?

Featured Replies

For the second time this season I picked up two bass on the same lure. Both times it was a Spook and both times they hit immediately after the first movement of the bait.  I hadn't landed two fish on one lure in over a year and prior to that it was at least five years.  I know it isn't a common occurance I was just wondering how many of you have doubled up and on what type of lure?

This happend a month or two back, Lipless crank that Jigfishn10 created.

First time it ever happened to me.

I've had doubles on traps and jerkbaits.  I've also had them on umbrella rigs, but that doesn't really count in my book.

I have yet to ever double up....unless you include the time the bass caught me after 10 seconds of being out of the water. Treble buried into two of my fingers while the bass did the flippity flop attached to my hand.

Nice

Happens to me a couple times every year it seems like. Topwaters and traps are what it seems to happen on most often but I've done it on cranks and jerkbaits quite a few times also. Oddly enough I've never doubled up on the A-rig despite fishing it quite a bit and catching a bunch of fish on them.
