I've got a pretty decent setup that I use to throw my soft plastics and lighter baits but I'm looking to add another setup that I would primarily use for light jig, crankbait, and other medium weight baits.  I've attached some reels that are within my budget so I was hoping you guys could help me pick the reel and name a rod that you would put with it.  I'm looking for a MH rod that will keep my total price between $150-175.  Thanks in advance guys.

Which ever one of the reels are aluminum framed would be the one you get, in other words the Shimano and the pro max are out as those reels have graphite frames so any of the others should be decent.

BPS Pro Qualifier/Carbonlite combo.

That's what I've been thinking all along but just thought I'd weigh my options from the BR crowd.

Pro qualifier definitely I have four and the won't quit the dual breaking system is great and they handle light baits pretty well you won't be disappointed

Tight lines

You can't go wrong with a Lew's Speed Spool. I don't have a Bass Pro Shops Qualifier so I can't speak for it, but I absolutely love my Lew's and I will be buying more. You should give them a try.

I am a big time lews fan.. and the speed spool is cheaper than the bpsQ so you can put a little more in a rod.. and for that.. I would say check TW and the ballistic rod is on sale for 64-68 dollars.. so then you are at 140 then buy you some good fluoro and you are done.

Lews doesn't have many options for a LH retrieve. I recommend the Pro Q if you reel lefty.

If you reel with your right hand, disregard and carry on!
