should i get it? ithas an assortment of spinners, buzzbaits, spinner & crawfish trailers, bass jigs, tube jigs, and jig heads.

I haven't specifically seen that kit, but in general you are better off buying specific lures individually.

Assortments tend to have lots of stuff you will never use.

Cheaply made spinnerbaits, bad colored jigs, buzzbaits with only two "blades", and it looks nothing like the picture.  If it is still $19.99 you would probably be better off buy fewer quality items.

If you are just beginning to build a tackle box, start out with a few time tested lures. Become proficient with them, then experiment with others. Here are a few ideas to get started:

1. Original Floating Rapala

2. Zara Puppy (black & silver)

3. Norman Fat Boy (bluegill pattern)

4. Terminator spinnerbait, a) white with silver willow blades, :) chartreuse & white

5. Rat-L-Trap (chrome & blue), maybe a crawfish pattern, too.

That's all you need right now. All of these lures are excellent producers that can be fished with a basic cast and retrieved. When you are ready for finessee, the 5" Senko and Fat Ika are next on the list.
