Sorry for the dumb question again.

I'm thinking if the black plastic worms work so good why not try the black senko's?

Or has anyone tried them already??

I'm thinking they just maybe hot as the black plastic worms too.

Mister Twister has there comida (MT Senko Type bait) in black in there discounted section.

I always have some luck with black worms, so give it a shot. Let us know the results.

Black senko w/ purple flake is my back up to the white fluke. If the fluke isn't getting bit the black senko most certainly will. I've also been very successful with it at low light and in the dark. Give it a shot.

I have used them. They work fairly well. I do prefer a green or purple worm though.

Related to MT, the girlfriend has been picking up fish on a black/red Poc It Phenom worm. I think that's the name. Nice worm. Cheap, too, compared to my senkos and recon worms.

Black works for me often with Zoom Finesse and Trick worms. Can be deadly on certain days. I have not gone straight black for Senkos/knock-offs, but have had limited success with black + blue flake, and black + red. Limited on those. I simply haven't bought black stick worms. I might just try it soon enough, though.

That's what I'm thinking if we used the solid black worm split shot rigged with success then the solid black senko type stick bait should work too. It makes sense to me. When I seen that mister twister offers the black neon in the comida(MT senko) it got me thinking.

I use black senko's all the time. Senkos are one bait where every color catches bass at least for me. I often change to a different color after I lose one to a fish. It never seems to matter.

Black Senkos are my number one choice.  Oddly enough I have trouble finding  plain  black Senkos.  It seems that green pumpkin, watermelon and junebug are the most popular around here so that is what the stores stock most of.

Those of you that are using black (with or without flakes) senkos, are you throwing them in the daytime or evenings only?

I have a pack of black with blue flake sitting in my bag that I've only thought to bring out the one or two times I've fished at night. I typically reach for green pumpkin or watermelon in daylight.

I'm assuming the blacks work weightless t-rig and wacky like others.

Is there a reason you think that black plastics would not work during the day?  I never fish at night, I'll use black plastic stick baits at any time of the day. Next time out, throw those black w/blue flakes, they'll do just as well as any other color in the daylight.

Most "best colors for Senko" threads and articles seem to suggest one color for bright sunny, another for cloudy, and black for night.

I guess it's my poor assumption that each color/situation was mutually exclusive. Makes sense that "best for" doesn't mean it's not "good for" or "equally best for" another situation.

Black is the only color senko I throw. Sunny, cloudy... Whatever it is they fill the livewell

Like with the Culprit worms I use the black senko with the blue tip.  That color combination seems to work best in the waters I fish.  When I joined the bass club I'm currently in last year I saw that all the other guys use that, too.

Black has always been one of my standard colors for plastics, including worms and Senko-style baits. I've used other colors but most of the time I carry just black and pumpkinseed. I don't fish at night so obviously black works in the daytime.
