Books Or Movies About Fishing.

Featured Replies

Anyone got any good recommendations? Not movies or books that teach you anything but stories. Something like grumpy old men, the river why, maybe even jaws (saltwater fishing???).

There's "A River Runs Though It". I haven't seen it in so long, I don't remember it well enough to say if I'd recommend it, or know how much of it was about fish. Then the is a movie called "Big Fish" which is a good movie, but there are only like 2 scenes that are even slightly related to fishing.

There's a decent movie running recently on Showtime called Salmon Fishing in the Yemen. It's a little hokey but not horrible.

Double Whammy by Carl Haiaasen. Fictional read that is set in Florida. Carl is the best about writing about Florida.
