I think Im gonna try and hit a spot if the weather is good this afternoon. I have caught some good fish there, and I need to apparently get some better numbers. Sunday was fun and caught plenty of fish, but now its time to get some kickers!

Idk about the weather in south fl but here it's been looking like its on the verge of a storm. It has been over cast and gloomy all day.

I may try a spot that's close by it may be a little too windy for the frogs today though. This seems like a day for a big catch right before the storm. The big one I caught last month came when there was a light rain

Im still dinked up but my dad did hook a 4-5lber that ended up breaking off the cheap mono rod I had with me.... in the weeds. It made 2 good jumps before burying itself, then my dad tightened the drag in error. It was my nieces party so I didn't get too fancy since lil kids would be using it also.

It's been a ghost town today folks. Did no one catch anything worth posting today across the state??

I fished today. Caught a dink on a spinnerbait but that's about it.

In order for me to land them I had to pull them out of the water with the "swing" method. As long as they arent in sand and rocks, lol. The one that I caught when the sun was down actually spit the hook as soon as I got it out of the water. I jumped for it as if it was a fumbled football, lol.

I would have loved to see that catch. It isn't easy to catch those slimey fish. LOL.

Lol LMG! I had one like that recently. I caught a nice one fishing with the guys. I was around the corner from them. I got it on shore, it threw the hook and started immediately flopping its way back to the water. I swear it was slow motion noooooooo. They heard the commotion just in time to see me slide, fall flat on my butt and make the catch right at the waters edge lol.

Im on a one week hiatus this week.  Im moving apartments this weekend so im using the week to pack/give my spots a little break.  Was so tempting to run out this evening w the over cast skys and off and on drizzle.  Ive had some of my best luck in this weather.  But hopefully i dont slide down to far and maybe the biggens will be woken back up after me not visiting for a few days.
