What To Throw On A Dobyns Savvy 734C

Recommended Posts

4 power would make a good swim jig rod or a flipping rod provided your not in heavy cover.

The better question is what wouldn't you throw? It's one of the most versatile rod in the line up, and many people I know have 3-4 of them.

Spinnerbaits, Buzzbaits, Spooks, Jigs, Swimjigs, Chatterbaits, Texas Rigs, Senkos, Light duty pitching plastics, Smaller swimbaits, Scroungers, the list goes on...

I have 3 of their 4 power rods because they do it all. As has been said, they can throw everything expect light stuff and cranks. Everything else is fair game
