4 power would make a good swim jig rod or a flipping rod provided your not in heavy cover.

The better question is what wouldn't you throw? It's one of the most versatile rod in the line up, and many people I know have 3-4 of them.

i just got a 735c and i throw mostly frogs pitchin and flippin and small swimbaits thats what it says on my rod. you can throw about anything though with the 735 its a all around good rod.

the 4 power dobyns in each series is the most universal rod they make.

literally everything except crankbaits

I have 3 of their 4 power rods because they do it all. As has been said, they can throw everything expect light stuff and cranks. Everything else is fair game
