I have heard good things about the rapala shad rap 5. I have and h2o express square bill crank bait in sexy shad pattern. I need some new rattle traps to replace the ones lost to the fishing gods. Any other good cranks that will be worth a try? Also a massive cold front just moved throught Tennessee and the fish have major lockjaw. How long does it take for them to get back to normal?

When it gets cold, Wiggle Warts and flat sided crankbaits are always good choices.  I really like the Lucky Craft KJ Flat, I'm also interested in trying the SK KVD Flat Sided Crank and the Arashi Flat Sided Crank.

The shad rap is a great crank in clear water when the water gets cold. I like to put some suspend dots on them to make them float very slowly. Wiggle wart type baits are very good too.
