I was thinking about picking some of these at Bass Pro. What is the best color choices, and how should I fish it?

Rig.- any way you want to rig it

Colors.- choose the colors you like cuz there no such thing as "best color choices", to each his own and we all have different color choices we prefer/like. Statistically speaking,  any watermelonish/green pumpkinish colors are the most popular so I bet you are safe if you pick from there.

Raul is right. If want any recommendations i say use watermelon, watermelon candy, watermelon red flake, green pumpkin u can do whatever you want with them.

I caught a ton of fish with them texas rigged, weightless, as a jig trailer and cut in half for my finesse jigs and what they said watermelon and green pumpkin are your main stays anything else is your personal preference

This is one of the hardest baits to mess up...in fact i dont think you can...Go with what colors you have the most confidence in.

Is there any bait you dont wacky rig? What kind of success do you have wacky rigging Baby Brush hogs?

I like to texas rig it. 

Green pumpkin and T-rig it.

Great bait. 

The BBH could be the most versatile bait on the market.  You can t-rig it, shakey head it, C-rig it, weightless...you get the picture.  Any of the green pumpkin variations will do.

Never heard of wacky rigging a brush hog...

I'll add a couple of other colors that have been good for me which would include Smoke Purple, Junebug, Rootbeer Green & Blueberry. The Baby Brush Hog is a terrific bait, if gunning for the big ones it wouldn't hurt to pick-up a bag or 2 of the full size brush hogs as well.

check out the 3" crazy leg chigger craw for a smaller bait with alot of action.

i always get pumpkin, watermelon and black before other colors on plastics.

Texas rigged, carolina rigged, or split shot rigged.
