Hey riskkid2. How long have you lived in Nashville? I was stationed at the Air Force base in Smyrna back in the sixties.. Just south of Nashville. Now it's an Army base I think. I passed thru there a few years back and didn't recognize the place. No one I talked to remembered the Air Force Base. It was kind of erie. Sure showed me how old I was.LOL I really liked Nashville.  Hope to see you at the road trip.

I've lived in Nashville since 1977. The Smyrna Airport is a civilian airport now, they closed the Air Force base in 1970. They have a pretty spectacular air show there, I believe it is in June. Blue Angels are scheduled to perform. Look forward to meeting you.

Last year was me and my wife's first year and we went for 5 days......arrived on Wednesday and departed on Monday.

My wife and I had such a great time that this year she and I are going for 7 days! She and I will arrive 2 days early on Monday and depart the next Monday.

Just a reminder, tomorrow is the last day to make reservations for the Road Trip before the cabins are released to the general public.

May as well count them ol' Coots boys in! Just booked our cabin! We'll only be able to come in on Thursday night, and we'll be heading out Sunday after we fish that day I guess. 

 

Looking forward to meeting all of you. 

I will be arriving the Tues 29th flight gets into Huntsville around 10 PM so Motel there, drive to the location in the AM, Hopefully fish with someone, make the Wine/Cheese Soiree, and I will be staying until Tues. the 6th leaving in the Am so if anyone has a spot to fish Monday the 5th let me know.
