I would not want the job of finding a plastic worm that doesn't catch bass ;D

It seems that every plastic worm is a good bass producer,

but there are a few I tend to favor:

Midwater Worm:

> Deps 6.0" Deathadder Grub (Not the pintail but the sickletail worm)

> Zoom 7.5" Mag Ultra-Vibe worm (a slitted paddletail worm)

Near-Bottom Worm (cranking & gliding):

> Berkley 10 Power Worm (shortened 1.5")

Bottom Worm:

> Gambler Big Stick (high-floating tube-tail worm)

I've drifted away from worms that are mostly ribbontail

with a small body target (e.g. anaconda)

Surprised no one has mentioned the Zoom 8" Dead Ringer.

The dead ringer is my "go to" plastic bait. It is has a big profile and displaces a lot of water. It has ridges along the profile which slow the fall rate, allowing use of a heavier t-rig weight (and thus longer casts).

My favorites:

small: Zoom UV u-tail

medium: Zoom 8" dead ringer

large: Rage 10" thumper, Lake Fork 10", Zoom ol monster

The three big worms above all have different profiles/actions/fall rates. Between one of those three I can usually get something going if there is a worm bite happening.

If Rage made a 8" thumper, I'd probably buy out their entire stock. I have some of the 7" thumpers, but they are a little small for my taste (in both diameter and length).

Zoom Ol' Monster green watermelon when they want a big one.

X2 that combination will cover all the basics

you mean the Robo zipper Shakin right? cause yeah, thats my biggest producer as far as worms. but in oxblood. and the senko cut tails too, in plain ole watermelon seed. awesome bait.

Charlie Brewer Slider 4" worm tops my list because it produces under all conditions.

Dichoso Baits Nightcrawler, and Ticklestick. Get to pick your own color, flakes, and softness of the plastic. 

One of my all-time favorites was always the Zetabait Gillraker 8".  They had phenominal tail action, even with weights as light as 1/16oz.  I don't know if they're even being made these days.  Haven't seen any in a tackle shop or online in ages.

Don't fish zipper worms...

7 and 10" power worms and I have recently started fishing with the 12".
