Any Bass Clubs In Upstate South Carolina

Featured Replies

I'm also interested.  I haven't come across any clubs in the area, but there must be some.

Interested as well. Maybe we should get together and start our own. There is a club that fishes tourneys on Lake Bowen. Id rather go to the bigger lakes Hartwell, Murray, even Greenwood. Thoughts......

There use to be a lot my dad belonged to a few along time ago. I fish the 12 mile area of hartwell a lot. And talk to other people that fish tournament out of there but never mention a name or anything. But yea starting one is not a bad idea but I have no idea were to start.

I have been going to Hartwell more and more the last year just to increase my experience on big water. I think we definitely need to start a club. I wouldnt want to be president or anything but would like to be on the board of members. If we can get enough guys together maybe we can start a club! I know 2 or 4.

Sounds like a plan to me find a few more people interested an we could look into. I don't wanna start them for big money or anything of that sort. Just getting together for a little competition an fun you know. Maybe just a small entry fee an maybe an optional big fish pot.

Yea that sounds good. Yea im not worried about big money starting out or expensive dues. Im more interested in a group of guys learning different lakes and getting some tourney experience. Of course a little side pot and low entry fee wouldnt hurt. I want to learn from different guys in our area. I know that there are some sticks in the upstate

I like your idea of learning different things from different people. I can tell it's been slow for me on hartwell the past few weeks fish are scattered. I've been doing best on a rat l trap an a bomber fire tiger.

Ill send you a pm about Hartwell. But yea thats what clubs were meant to be a learning tool where money shouldnt be #1 on the list. Hopefully some guys in the upstate spot this thread and chime in.

Hey guys I'm interested also.

I found a great trail to fish very organized CBC or carolina bass challenge. They have a north and south carolina division. I have fished with Fishers of men on their upstate team trail as well.

I'm interested also.

I am a member of the Carolina Hookers. We fish the savannah river chain, greenwood, sucession. We fish the first Saturday of the month and meet the Wed before the tourney 7pm at Sues wings and things exit 27 I85.

What is a bass club?

It’s a group of men that love to go bass fishing that meet once a month and talk bass fishing and plan a tournament once a month. It’s amazing to do, making new friends, learning new stuff and most of all. Going BASS Fishing, hope this answers your question.
