Working On A New Site.

Featured Replies

I'm in the process of releasing another website.  I've added an option of regular band or rattle band with rattles.  With this new site I can modify pricing and make everything more simple.  One thing I've been contemplating is making everything customizable.  For example,  Take the Dredge Football.  I can make an option where you can pick a hook.  I can make a selection that you could choose a Mustad, Owner XXX hook or the Deep Throat hook.  In your opinion would this get too complex and confusing?  It would simplify the selections.  I would have a Brush head then you choose the hook instead of several different types of jigs with the same head design.

This feature would probably extend into jig heads for painted or unpainted.  Also for jig heads with eyes.

Thank you for your input,

Mike

I was afraid of that.  It wont.  I'll have to leave it as a question.  Thanks.

I think buyers would be thrilled to customize their jigs to their liking. If its not to much of a PITA for production then go for it. I'm interested in seeing it. Sending you a pm to follow.

For me, being able to customize a lure would be a huge selling point. Coming from a background of tying flies, I do my own customizations on most every lure I buy, whether it be changing hooks, adding colors/marks, etc. Being able to do that at production, IMO, would be a great option.
