Anyone Recognize This Jig? Who Makes It?

Featured Replies

Came across this jig in some tackle I purchased at the swapmeet recently. Its got a unique head design, with some sort of bait keeper to hold a bait with.

Anyone fish these, how does this design function vs a standard jig?

Lastly...the big question...who makes it??

I know it but can not think of the name ;)

You attach your trailer head to the barb & then the hook.

Looks pretty cool.

I built a bike that color!  Sorry, I can't help past that.

Looks like a horse head jig modified to add a worm keeper in lieu of a swivel for a blade.

Can't see the photo clearly!

Thanks. It's my dad's old frame. He bought it new in the early 80s.  Sand blasted and powder coated it.  New decals and all new components.   I've built a few in the past couple years.  I dig single speed mountain bikes, so I made one.

Is that a lugged frame too?

I used to have an old bridgestone MB1 with a lugged frame that i am still kicking myself for getting rid of it...i sold it for more than i paid for it but that thing was a piece of history...

No, that's not lugs.  They look like this:

I just thought the frame was neat because they don't make the 'bull moose' style handlebars anymore.  I dig em.

This is the other bike I built this year:

Welcome to the Broken Spoke Forum

Looks like a predecessor to the FinTech jigs
