I Need Tacklebox Number 18#

Recommended Posts

I been buying up the hard body and soft body swimbaits. No room in any of the 17 tackle boxes. Im going after number 18# now. the stock market is going to fall soon when I stop buying and start saving money for sure. Im maxed out on all fishing stuff. I figure with the water shed nearby I can feed the family and neighborhood if I had too.

Oh my, please don't get some of these guys started. These guys practically have their own tackle stores in their garages. There was a thread where everyone posted their tackle boxes, but I can't seem to find it.

Seems silly to me. I like to display all the stuff on the walls of The Man Cave.

So much that will never be used, but ready if you need it! The biggest issue

is finding more room for the next "must have".

What I have been doing for fun when it has just been too nasty to get out is

organizing my stuff. Most of my tackle is kept on either peg board or shelfing.

Next is organizing Plano boxes, three for soft plastics, two for jigs and another

for hard baits. Then I have two compartments on the sides of my bag, one for

unopened packages and the other for additional terminal tackle.

So, some technique specific stuff has to be stored seperately in Shimano boxes:

jerkbaits, deep divers, bades & spoons and another for spare gitzits.

The fun continues with a smaller bag for smallmouth only or if I am sharing tackle

with guests, just smaller duplication of my main box.

So, call me crazy, but with all this gear, chances are I will end up fishing whatever

is rigged on 6-8 rods and never open the box!

Define 'tacklebox'? If a Plano 3700 series box or a standard soft plastics bag or binder is considered a tacklebox then I am real trouble.

Better have and not need than need and not have.

To me tackleboxes are not storage boxes, I have tackleboxes and storage boxes, tackleboxes are what I take with me; storage boxes are for the little extra stuff that I have in stock to replenish tacklebox inventory when it starts to get low. :eyebrows:
