I've read about it, I've wanted it, and I've finally got some. I have my new T3 Ballistic to spool up with 15lb Seaguar InvisX, and I plan on using my new KVD L&L. Like most products I'm guessing everyone uses it a little differently and has their own tips and tricks.

What's your favorite way to use KVD L&L?

Spray it on as you spool the line then give it a couple of sprays once your done let it sit over night and you're ready to go. You can also use it on your guides and stuff to keep them clean.

When spooling a reel, I put a healthy amount on a rag and run the line through the rag as it is coming on the reel. I also spray down my spools after fishing and do it again the night before I am supposed to go out.

You guys both do it different, and there both great examples of ways to do it. Thats exactly what I'm looking for! Thanks.

I cover the entire spool every 25 turns of the handle.

 

 

 

 

When putting line on I spray it about every 20 revolutions of the handle. And I spray it real good when the spool is full. Then when I get home from the lake I will make a long cast in the yard and spray it down good while reeling it in,then spray the top down again. Don't be afraid to use it,it is great stuff I have 2 or 3 bottles around at all times.

Looking forward to trying it out as well. Switching my e7 over to FC Sniper from braid.

Tip....

If you want to apply as you're spooling, use an old nylon sock instead of a cloth rag.

It wont get soaked in the rag and you'll use end up useing less to get the same if not more saturation.

In addition to the above I keep a bottle in the bow of the boat and give a spool a couple shots if my line starts getting out of control while fishing. L&L is magic.

I'll wind on about a 1/4 spool and then spray it good. Then spray it again at 1/2, 3/4 and full. I also spray it on after a fishing trip and if I can remember, give it a shot the night before a trip.

My favorite way is to point the bottle at the spool and press the top so it sprays on the line. I also use it when I run out of toothpaste. Only messing, sarcastic humor. Definitely don't use it like toothpaste. I do like BigMoneyGrip for the most part.
