Curado Tension Knob

Turns a little to easily to suit me. You think if I stretch the tension spring a little, it would feel a little more snug?

Why not better getting a new spring ?

That is one of the reasons why I always loosen the tension knob cap and back off the drag after I use the reel before storing it.

Yes, I back off all my drags after EVERY fishing trip. Don't see any reason to loosen the tension knob.

Just ccurious with the tension issue. Wondering what reel and if it may be tension spacer being worn.

Curado 200G7. Only been fishing maybe 10 trips or less.

Try wiping a bit of the grease off the threads that the knob goes on. I would give the spring a stretch as well; it certainly won't hurt, but it probably won't add too much tension either.

Just go ahead and stretch it a couple mm and it will be good... :Victory:
