Hi all! Just got this reel as a gift and was looking for a rod pairing suggestion . My budget is around 150$. I fish mostly jigs, spinners, plastics some crank baits . Thanks

You will receive many suggestions but since mine is the first here it goes:

1.  Check out the reel's line test and match it with the rod's parameters.

2.  What techniques will you be using the reel? There are "technique specific" rods designed for one or two applications so consider those rods.

3.  Always check the rod's bait weights and line test to make sure they balance with your specific technique.

4.  Wait for the sales coming up in January and February and "buy up" but keeping the price within your price range.

5.  Go with a brand name rod. Check out what others say about the rod on this Forum and on retailers' web sites if they review the products.

I purchased a Chronarch 200e6 last year, it's currently spooled with 8 lb. mono and sitting on a St. Croix Mojo Bass jerkbait rod. I love it.

I saw a chronarch setup in  a fishing shop teamed up with a Shimano Volteous rod.

You can pretty much match it up with any 7-ish foot MH/F spec rod of your choice.  At that price point, all the rods are VERY nice, light, and use good components.
