Has anyone used these yet?  I ordered some to try out since all the other Owners I've ever used have been awesome.  They say they are lighter and stronger then a traditional carbon steel hook.  I'm slowly swapping out all of my worm/tube hooks to the twist lock hooks.

I use these hooks and they are pretty solid. I use them for flipping with straight braid and after swinging for the fences sometimes, I still have not noticed any bending of the hook. Also, the non flipping owner twistlock hooks are amazing if you fish plastic frogs.

I like the twist lock 5\O for trick worms and flukes you talk about sharp and strong. But they are owner so you know the quality. They are great hooks imo.

I use these for ALL my flipping/punching and they have been fantastic. I never have any trouble hooking or landing fish using these hooks with the Palomar knot. I'm somewhere in the neighborhood of 85 to 90% hookup ratio with these hooks. No bending or flex that I'm aware of.

only thing is if using it for punchin the way the eye is your not going to be able to snell it and get that hook to kick in the same manner...

That's the only reason I haven't tried these yet.

The hook up ratio with these is phenomenal with a palomar knot.  However, i have straightened out numerous 4/0 hooks, not from boat flipping mind you, but have found the 5/0 to be a bit more sturdy.  These were all i used last year and boated over 100 bass punching with these hooks, however this year i'll be trying out the hack attack flipping hook, as i don't think they will ever straighten out.

Superb hook for the purpose.  I like them a lot for a flip hook where it's a bait that is prone to not lying flat, or twisting.  I've done really well with them on big worms and the like, as well.

Does this involve taking off the twist lock and using it in a jig mold?

x2 This is the only reason I haven't bought any more. No complaints on the hook itself. The non flippin version makes a good fluke/senko hook. 

Does the CPS spring catch a lot of grass?  What benefits does using the spring to flip have over say a strong off-set EWG or straight shank?

They are about as good as it gets. Helps keep plastics longer also.

A very very good chance of that. 

I just got a few packs of these in.  WOW is all I have to say.  Extremely sharp and seem to be extremely strong.  Off to my next little project with them.
