That's what I was gonna say!

So I echo A-Jay's greeting in Italian, Luca!

Chow Luca!!!!

I often wonder the same thing, are there a lot of freshwater lakes?

I plan on visiting Italy next year, and I'm afraid good Bass fishing may cause me to stay  there.

Thanks guys!

In Italy there are only the largemouth bass and the size is not high, a 6.6 lb bass is a monster for us ... is the dream for all Italian bassmen.

The bass in Italy is present in almost all the lakes at low altitude but not in high concentrations, in some rivers and canals and in all the ponds.

Rob, Alfano is a last name used in the south of Italy, do you have relatives there?

Before coming to Italy if you want you can write to me the area that you visit and I give you all the informations on places to find bass, it will be a pleasure!

I hope that you will like Italy but I'm sure that bassfishing is a thousand times better in America, if you want we can make change, you come in Italy and I come to America, it is my dream!  ;)  :D

My family is from Salerno/Napals. My oldest brother met some of my family there but they are distant relatives my father died a long time ago, and he was the last link.

I live on Lake Okeechobee , one of the best lakes in America

I spent a number of years in Naples and Aviano. Italy is a great place with fantastic food/ wine we really enjoyed our time there and planning a vacation to Florence.
