At $699, which would you choose:

• 5" Screen with down imaging AND side imaging (Model 698CI)
• 7" Screen with down imaging only (Model 859CI)

Side Imaging is a better tool even if the screen is as narrow as the 600 series.

 

Screen size is not a big benefit with 2D sonar or Down Imaging since the size of displayed subjects is based on the depth.

 

Side Imaging subject sizes are based on the SI Range setting.
