Anyone Using H2O Frogs?

Featured Replies

What's the best size and color? I'm thinking basic black and white in the larger size for a bait caster setup. Black for overcast days and white for sunnier days. Maybe a predominantly green color too.

I use the larger one in chartreuse & white because the marsh I fish that is a hot color.

My buddy uses them and I'm sure he has caught a few. I bought the small version on a impulse buy but never threw it yet, not really a fan of the frogs with the skirts I never have luck with them I'm more of a paddle tail frog guy

i love the small one in the black and yellow color.

X2, works great in areas with overhanging trees or grass where bass are waiting for bugs to fall into the water. I've had better hookup success with them if I bend the hooks up slightly though. That little frog casts surprisingly well also, even on casting gear.

Just picked up three from Academy durng my visit to New Orleans.

Will give them a test this summer.

I purchased black/yellow; green/yellow and white.

I will have to try bending my hooks up a little, i have had a few hookup issues as well.

The tiny one that is about 1.5 inches fell apart on me after 100-125 fish in the first week. The led weight on the bottom came out (which I should have superglued back on), and the skirt tails were a bit shredded up (which is expected).

I'd pay $4 for 100-125 fish any day of the week! Lol
