I do. It's because its the adrenaline rush going through my body and also because I get excited. I yell things like 'BOOM'. I'm talking about Michael Iaconelli and other Elites on Bassmasters or like Brent Ehler from FLW.

I have on a few occasions, but generally no.

At this point during the bitter cold and probably 2 more months left....id yell if i snagged a minnow at this point.

It's more of a sigh of relief that I got her in and the line didn't snap or she didn't shake the hook!

I dont like actually yell out loud. Just talk to myself, like the bass tries to jump out and shake the lure out, Ill say no no no dont you dare just in talking way. Once I land the bass in, I usually say Bam not very loud like Ike does.

I don't think I could see myself doing that.

I have a couple times, but more out of sheer relief I got the bass in. Normally when I have done that only a kayak fishing buddy is near me, I don't do it when others are nearby.

I'm usually pretty silent as I'm concentrating on getting the fish reeled in.

I usually imitate a good ole Bill Dance comment like "that's a mule my boy"

No! Anytime I catch a fish, large or small, it's a reverent moment of relief and the answer to the question during the fight of - how big?!!

 

I've always seen catching a large bass as pure luck on my or anyone else's part and therefore nothing to shout about regardless of how experienced.  I'm more into the immediate question of why here and why this bait? Most of the time the answers are illusive but nonetheless a mystery - as mysterious and awesome as me or my partner being in the right place and time.

 

I leave the acting like a maniac to Ike and others. I see it as a Richard Sherman act of disrespect to the fish which I have the greatest respect for, adrenaline rush or not.

Occasionally, but very rarely.  I'm more likely to let out a shout when I lose one.  You'd be surprised how many guys still try to come fish nearby just because they hear you make some noise.

Those guys are playing it up for the cameras. Plus, when you are playing for big money, there is a lot of emotion involved.

I do sometimes but not loud....except the time this group of three raced in front of my dad and I to get to a sweet spot before us...they caught nothing and moved and we came in behind them and I caught a small one on the first cast. I hooped just to let em know.
