Looking to pair my new Pflueger Supreme spinning reel with a solid rod that i'll use for drop shotting and weightless softplastic fishing

Most of my rods are Fenwick and i love them. My budget is $75-150 and looking for some input to get the bass to ---> :tongue8:

You might want to check out the Denali Jadewood Dropshot spinning rod.  It is a great rod and a great price at $100.  Go to www.Denalirods.com and look at their products.

Check out the Duckett Ghost 7' medium. Right in the middle price wise. Great stick!

If you plan to drop shot and fish weightless plastics like a senko then I would go with a medium with a med/fast tip. Decent balance for both applications.

I'm partial to Rapsody rods but that is because they are local to me.

Good luck.

On the lower end of your price range at $80 is the Abu Vendetta. I use the 6'9" ML/XF spinning rod and like it a lot.

Shimano compre or clarus 7'2" M/F would work well. At the top of your price range I would recommend the Crucial in 7'1" M/F or ML/F, and the St Croix Rage 6'10" ML/XF.

I use the Wright and McGill Skeet Resse Tessera Drop shot rod. Its 7'2" and has a medium fast taper. It casts a 1/8oz drop shot a country mile and can skip a wieghtless senko like a pro. For 90 bucks you cant beat it.

add the Lamiglass drop shot rod too. I have a Loomis, Shimano and Lamiglass, all in ML. I use the Loomis and Lamiglass most of the time.

If you like Fenwick why would you change?  :eyebrows:  Take a look at the Aetos (Fenwick), I have the M/F it is my go to deep water DS rod. My dedicated DS rod is a Crucial ML/XF, which is the best DS rod I have ever used, mind you I haven't tried a Loomis or higher end for a DS rod.  No reason to when these two do an awesome job already.

+2 for St Croix.  If you don't mind a repaired rod, you can find factory repaired (like new) St Croix rods on ebay for cheap. Generally around $50. I have a couple and LOVE them.  My drop shotter is a Legend Tournament Bass that is 2" short, so 6'6" ML XF.  I can't tell a difference, but it is amazing to fish with.  PM me if you have more questions.
