Hello all.  My name is Tom, and I just found this site.  It looks awesome and educational.  I am newish to fishing so I have a lot to learn and this site seems to be a good place to unravel some of the mysteries of fishing.  Do  not own a boat so it will be shore fishing from the local pond, lakes and rivers of the area I live.  Hope to learn a bunch and become a decent fisherman

    Welcome! Hey guys. Got friends in Albany (saw Springsteen there a couple years ago), many summers at Lake George and a brother in Rochester, and from what I hear very good fishing. Its so gorgeous up there. Enjoy the site and good luck fishing!
