ok.

I need a bottle for my ever expanding home bar collection.  Please let me know what is a good brand or two and where to order.  pm me if you like.

Yuengling Lager bottle or draft.

I've heard a lot about yuengling and finally got to try it while visiting a friend in PA. It was pretty good. I usually drink harpoon

Sweetwater ipa.

Recently had bells two Hearted Ale and that was delicious just very hard to come across in my area.

Boulevard Irish Ale in the spring (seasonal beer). Another good local beer I like is Free State Brewery Oatmeal Stout.

Ghost River Copperhead Red

Its a Memphis beer.  You have to get it on tap at local bars or in a 64oz growler at the brewery.

Weapons of Choice

Paulaner Hefe-weizen

Sam Adams Cold Snap

If it is close to pay day and I am running low, good ole' PBR, it got me through college!

If you like any of the following beers: Coors Light, Miller Light, Budweiser, Bud Light, or basically any beer like that, don't post! :)

This thread is about craft beers, microbrews, IPAs, etc. So, what everyone current favorite? I love Fat Tire by New Belgium on draft which could be my all time favorite beer. Sierra Nevada Torpedo which is an extra IPA is real good.

Fat tire...you happen to try their winter beer...accumulation? I love that! Shipyard makes some good stuff, old thumper, IPA, bad monkey, black IPA....Sierra like torpedo, but like ruthless rye better, big foot barley wine is good too. Stone brewing, Full sail, intuition ale works, sweet water all good stuff too! Oh and that batch 19 Coors is a sleeper! Try it, good ol fashion American beer like yuengling.

I like any beer almost. That has the color of a dark tan. To ones that are as dark as midnight. Right now I weapon of choice is Guinness. I have known to drink Becks dark, killiians stout, Guinness stout, and Guinness extra stout. I have tired almost every type of American dark beer. That I can get my hands on. It proves why I hate American beer. Though a few years ago. I did get some Yuengling Lager from a buddy. Wow was that great beer. It is not available here in WI. So it sucks I can not get a hold of it.

I can't find their winter beer down here.

Two breweries that I really like right now are Devils Backbone in Virginia and Oskar Blues in NC. Devils Backbone Vienna lager and 8 point IPA, and Oskar Blues G'night and Dales Pale ale. Can't get enough of any of those!!

Went shopping earlier and noticed my grocery store actually stocks a lot of the beers mentioned here. Didn't know where to start so I got my two Hearted Ale.

Any suggestions for a clean, high abv ipa?

I do enjoy guiness. anyone ever hear the song about guiness and rats by the dropkick murphys? Pretty catchy tune.

also drink st paulies girl, fat tire, & sweetwater 420 on occasion. but its normally a good ol bud light in a bottle for me.

420 is great. If you like that, give their ipa a try.

That is one of my all time favorite songs. That was one of our drinking anthems when I was in college. Name of the song is Good Rats. I have three different versions of it and each one is phenomenal.

Call Vulcan Beverages in Bham. If they don't have it in stock they can get it. They have one of the largest beer selections in Alabama.

I ain't forgot about you. I'm mulling over some brands and have been busy as hell the last two days. Plus I got to find the website to order it off of.

Correction.

TONS of good drinking songs made by them.

Drank Bud for years and really liked it until it got sold and ruined. As it turned out, it was probably for the best as now I thoroughly enjoy Sam Adams and Bells beer.

high ABV IPA? Get Sierra Nevada Torpedo. It's 7% ABV, I believe.

Thanks, I'll definitely check the Torpedo out. Had my eye on Dogfish Head minute ipas too.
